Luca de Meo Introduces the Car

Some vehicles need big world premieres, such as the Lancia Delta. And not because the car lacks anything, but just because of the high importance of the presentation. When it comes to the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, though, anything more than what has been done would be an excess. See for yourself in this video we have brought to you.

When Alfa’s CEO, Luca de Meo, introduced the car (in French), saying it is one of the most beautiful Alfa cars ever done, all that happens, as you can see in this video, is an unveiling (literally speaking), with a beautiful woman showing the car. And, when the roadster appears, you may confirm nothing else would be necessary. The striking lines of the 8C Spider are all the audience needs.

The World Touring Car Championship will make its first visit to the United States in 2012 with a race at Infineon Raceway in California.

Page said: "We were keen for a number of reasons to bring the WTCC to Infineon. We are always looking to expand our menu, and we think the WTCC provides excellent racing. Northern California has a strong racing fan base, so I think the WTCC will develop a good following. It is also a way to expose our raceway to a worldwide audience."
